    That may be true, but one can not deny that for far too many folks the dilly-dickering is a secondary reason, car habits translated to bike habits being what they are.

    Ironic indeed, "using a smartphone safely while riding." Let me guess: the guy who penned this article has a car with automatic parallel park, collision avoidance, and lane correcting features so he can spend more time dilly-dickering with his phone while "driving"?
