I'm glad to see a new forum for beginner bikers.

We need some way to publicize this to the old members of BB. I found it through a message I sent to whizbang.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've been wondering the same thing. I've let some of my BB friends know, but I know there are many that have lost contact and would love to know about this new forum.

Over at the Delphi forum, I started collecting email addresses and still have lots to enter. So far entered about 50, have about another 25 to go, plus others I had already.

My intent was to email everyone new forum info, like this one. And, I am more than happy to do that. I will make sure to blind address everyone, and I'll put the link to this forum, and the other one as well, and let folks decide.

But like I said, I still have to enter them all first, so maybe by the end of this weekend, I hope that's ready.

Hi everyone! This site looks great. I am not much of a multi-forum person and this one looks to be the closest to BB as I have seen. Great work, dboogie.

Now I will just have to learn how to use the forum. I am hoping to post some pics of the IMS breakfast in Atlanta later today.

Anyone have an in with matthew over at BB? If he had any shred of decency, he would let us send a mass email through the forum mass email function...letting users know alternatives to BB and our problem would be solved.

I agree DB.... the best would be if we could mass mail AND put up a notice at the BB forums where it says "down for maintenance, happy holidays"
