      I saw a car like that drive into the local Chrysler dealer last Saturday...

        I admit, I drifted away too, but only as the number of posts became smaller and smaller and many of the "old guard" (lets face it, folks, we're not "beginners" any more!) disappeared. Facebook appears to have taken BBO's place, but I do miss the forum arrangement, with the various categories of interest and the longer discussions (Like Shack's above). I used to frequent a Delphi forum that used to be a hotspot for local riders that has been ghosted now for over a year. I'd love to see action pick up here, but sadly, don't know if it will ever happen.

          Yes, when photo bucket started charging for links, it was discouraging. Just today, I realized I needed to find a photo online in order to post it here, while on FB I can link it to the pics on my computer.

            Wanted to take some pictures yesterday at the trial to share :/ but the rain and mud were too much for my camera. Just picture 41 or so motorcycles all slipping and sliding over wet moss covered rocks and logs, riders crashing over the bars, sliding backwards down long steep rock inclines and testing the impact resistance of their riding gear it was a great day!

            I don't do FB

              You are uploading pics to Facebook.

              I use imgur as my pic hosting service.

                Since I really don't post pics much anymore, I suppose I can just post them to FB and go from there.

                  That would work for anybody on face book,
                  and there you go, maybe why this site is sick, a big chunk of the world is not on face book
                  or maybe too many beginner bikers are on face book and not here.

                  Or maybe they are just too busy riding or setting up sections to be on the internet when it is so nice out today.

                    The problem with that is the facebook URL for the pic is never permanent. It might last a few months, a few weeks, a few days, or a few hours...so if you link the FB pic to a forum the image eventually disappears when the URL "expires". If you're lucky, it expires after the discussion dies...but anyone resurrecting the thread won't see it later.

                      <facepalm>

                      One of the facebook bike groups I oversea is having a lengthy discussion regarding "Tell us about how you had to lay it down". I'm almost tempted to post that one in the BBO facebook group...judging by a lot of the new posters it should get some hits. Maybe throw in an additional LPSL discussion just to be sure.

                            I had to read that 3 times
                            Is that why this site is sick? or are you saying the face book group is sick too?

                              btw imho this site is the least broken motorcycle enthusiast site on the net right now.
                              It works good and it is not super saturated with advertising like the rest kudos to the management.
