    New Bike!

    I haven't been posting much in the past few years, but I am still riding... Just got a new bike:

    I haven't ridden it yet and had to trailer it home because of the snow and crap on the road (don't want all that salt on the bike. Can't wait for the roads to clear!

        Watch those 140 HP bud !
        Are you experienced with this kinda powa ?
        If not, take it very easy on the throttle until you get slowly used to it, it will take you at least 6 months...thought I'd say...But on this bike, a great feature is the "power mode"...

          Nice bike! Friend of mine has one and he tried to convince me to buy one last year.

          Yeah... that's not happening this week. IDK how much they're forecasting for you but we're getting 6+ inches tomorrow.

            They're only calling for an inch here! I'm puttin' a really big fan in my front yard to keep that weather down there. The foot that's still on the ground is enough!

                  The factory bags are not compatible with the top case so I didn't get them. I be purchasing aftermarket bags once I sell the 650.

                  As for the power I haven't ridden anything close to that, I expect to spend a lot of time getting used to it.

                  It isn't the snow I am worried about. The salt eating my bike is my big concern

                        You are NOT planning to put a top case, are you ?
                        If you got salt, DON'T ride, it's the worse you can get, the salt's gonna get into your radiator, and all the small spaces where it can lodge itself and corrode it !!!
