Sweet! I'm guessing that no mention of price means if you have to ask you can't afford one.
& Sure hope they can actually get it past all the emissions rules.

I'm sure at least. 70hp and only 200 pounds means a bunch of expensive components right from the get go. Still ya gotta hope it points the way for some smaller high performance machines coming from the major players at an affordable price. My mantra is how about another in-line 4 Honda CBR 250rr

Heck with that, how about a mass produced reproduction of the RC166 with fuel injection

Yea I had forgotten about the RC166. I remember as a kid Mike Hailwood rode one before breaking off to Ducati. Was that an inline 4?

There's so many obstacles in bringing a cool 250 Superbike to market but I really wish they would/could. As someone here pointed out once before it'd be a fairly expensive bike and would rival the cost of the current crop of 600 to 1000CC Supersports currently coming to market.

It'd be tough to sell though. You'd go to the dealer and there would sit a 250cc Super right next to a 1000cc Super and they'd cost about the same.

The Yamaha shop where my wife worked had an FZR 250, that they would not sell.
The RC 166 was a 6. Someone brought one to the AHRMA races at Daytona in 2000. Started it a couple of times and did a parade lap.

We have a local guy who occasionally brings an RZ 350 to trackdays. It smells like racing.
