BTW: At 1:08 in this video is the old set of the television show M.A.S.H.

If you’re a fan of the show you’ll recognize the hills as part of the infamous background.

Did you take PCH to Mulholland? Is PCH open at Pt Mugu now? Just curious since it was closed due to mudslide a couple years ago when we were there.

Yes if I’m coming down from Santa Barbara proper I usually take the 101 to Oxnard and cut across to PCH above Magu Navel Base. I pick up Mulholland down at Encinal cause Encinal had the very best sweepers PCH is open all the way through but the remnants of the slide are there with make shift concrete barriers still in place. Skip to 3:50 in this vid and you can see the barriers and fences still in place https://vimeo.com/237580314

1:25, the proper way to go through a tunnel Would be better with an aftermarket exhaust though.

I posted something earlier (but I don’t see it) so if this shows up twice....my bad. That video was shot with the Hero 4 in the plastic case which encloses the mics in a plastic box. Not optimal for motorcycle riding. The GoPro wind screen works much better (the more current vids of mine). The stock exhaust does sound substantial better than it sounds here. However....it’s currently a subject of agonizing reappraisal. I’ve had Remus exhausts on my last three bikes. What so far has held me up is the Street Triple’s fueling is just so darn perfect I hesitate to go there (slip on) and screw up the fueling. Honestly the Street’s fueling is better than my dearly departed BMW and that’s saying a whole lot. That and compared to the Ducati’s whose fueling was designed to buck, kick and snort I’m in a happy place right now. Further there’s no map for a Remus (although the UK guys are saying the Arrow map works well as a replacement) and that leads to a Power Commander and that leads to a substantial added cost. I’m sure I’ll have a Remus at some point but as I mentioned before the stock exhaust (especially when you get on it) is really quite snarling and the fueling “as is” is spectacular!
