Why I'm not a "betting man"

The other day I was outside smikin a cig. I noticed a Yamahama crotch rocket parked not too far away. A few minutes go by. A young guy wearing baggy nylon shorts, a tank top, and flip-flops walks out the back door. Considering that this is standard squid riding gear, I said to myself, I said "Self! I'll betcha fifty bucks he hops on that crotch rocket!"

Well, he did. I reached out to collect my winnings, but Self looked at me and grinned. He said "I'll betcha a hunnert bucks he goes through all 6 gears just getting outta the parkin lot."

    I owe myself fifty bucks.

Well said, Norty. My grandpa used to play the lottery every week. He was saving all the tickets as well, "just in case." We still laugh about it to this day.
