I'm not crazy about the blacked-out bobber look, but I think Indian has done a nice job with the styling of the regular Scout. It's a good balance of the traditional look of the rest of the Indian line with a bit of the swoopy Victory look mixed in.

I am 50/50 on the Scout myself. While it's certainly refreshing to have a bike that doesn't mandate huge amounts of displacement (along with the corresponding tonnage associated with it) and impressive power, more shine/less YABOB along with a tank that can get you past the city limits would seal it for me.

Of all the modern incarnations of Indian, to date only one does it for me:

Yeah, the tank on the Scout is a bit dinky. There's a guy I know who mods the undersides of the tanks to add about 3/4 of a gallon of capacity. If the Scout was my only ride I'd think about it.

There are two modern incarnations of Indian bikes that "do it" for me. They're both in my garage. It's a win-win.
