    Oops! I did it again.

I have been looking for a 300-class bike for a bit. I really was lusting for an RC 390 by KTM but had a really hard time finding one. So then I was in search for an R3.

Then last night I found the above squirrel. Went to the dealer this morning to take a look. They also showed me a leftover 2016 Ninja 300 with ABS that was marked down.

But in the long run, with the 2016 CBR500R with ABS being only $350 more out the door, it followed me home. It only had 381 miles on it when I left the lot. Poor lil neglected CBR.

The dealer is about 60 miles away (via the scenic route), so we had a fun ride home together. It runs at about 5,200 RPM at 65 mph and carves the twisties with lots of fun.

And I didn't realize it til later, but the paint (hopefully you can see it in the last photo above) is sooooo sparkly in the sun.

My brother is arriving Wednesday for a visit, so I *needed* another bike so my son, my brother and I can take a ride or two while he's here. I am sure none of you will see any issues with this. Right?

Liking it! The Honda 500s are solid bikes (not quite up to RC390 standards, of course...rub, rub... ).

That paint does look nice in the sun!

Such a lack of self control! Didn't you already have a perfectly good motorcycle ... ?
The best thing you can buy for your motorcycle is gas.

LOL re the KTM. I love their looks and would have had one if more easily found when I had the cash. When cash was avail, poof. All of them were gone and dealer here isn't getting any in til end of this month or next month. With my brother arriving tomorrow, I couldn't wait that long.....and their OTD price was going to be nearly $2000 more than this one. I don't like the KTM THAT much.

Let the mods begin. The Labrat rode one of the 500's when they debuted. Liked.
