I typically don't mod much, but the Fender Eliminator (Vagabond) and a Cortech tailbag will arrive on Friday from the friendly amazon truck.

And there might be a new mesh jacket coming next week, too. Oops.

Truth be told, I *WAS* trying to match a new bike to my latest KTM helmet acquisition (obtained through an MSF killer helmet deal).

    For mods, I was thinking~
    Full exhaust system
    Sharkskins
    PC-V
    Tires
    Brakes
    Ti hardware
    Regearing (maybe)
    Lithium battery
    Frame slider kit
"520 acceleration kit" using a Vortex alum rear sprocket.
A good "dyno tune" by someone who knows what they're doing.
BST CF wheels (probably the largest improvement to handling for any motorcycle.)

This is all presuming it's going to be a "track whore."
Found a lot of stuff on www.denniskirk.com

I'd leave all the "pack mule" crap for the other bike. This one needs to be light & athletic.

Hey, speaking of "the other bike", how are the Shinko's holding up?

I am not interested in performance mods. Any speed increase will be thru technique. My only reason for doing track days.

I still hafta install Shinkos, believe it or not.

With the garage not yet finished I guess that there is no place to install the tire machine?

No contractors in sight for 2 days now. GRRRR!
No plans for tire machine yet. Lift is first.

They DID get all the welding equipment they needed. And by "needed", it is comparable to how I "needed" a CBR500.
