3 years probation and 45 days of community service.

Ya know...if it wasn't for all the non-punishments in the past for high profile cager-maims/kills-motorcyclists (re: Congressman Janklow/Randy Scott etc), I might have something negative to say about this sentence. I'll just leave it at "there's something seriously wrong with the legal system."

P.S. I'd still like to know if the intentional swerving driver got nailed with anything. We don't know what transpired before the video, but that looks like pretty clear intent to me as well...

Yes, punishment seems light. But hard to say without knowing all the facts. I would also be curious about the car driver.

That part was conveniently omitted hopefully the car driver will never drive again they appear to be unable to cope with the task, if a boot to the door is enough to cause that reaction a bird hitting his side window would probably have the same result. If the car drivers actions were not intent to kill, then they must have been asleep and possibly the biker was just trying to wake them up

Hey, wait a minute! I had a seagull fly into my open window, back in the 1980's. The bird was trying to fly inside my Toyota pickup. (Not much room inside for a bird with a 5 foot wingspan to flap about!) Boy, that sure woke me up! Reminded me of a certain Al Hitchcock movie...

With the other possibility being the Mel Brooks spoof of that scene.
