    The trick to finding vintage Japanese bikes is the bulk of them have been customized, and many not in a good way...which is why the unmolested ones tend to fetch higher prices.

    My favorite ad so far was one with a bike and a parts bike for a decent price. Clicked on the pictures and I wasn't sure which one was the parts bike.

    A lot of half completed project bikes. Not interested in those either.

    I've come across a Goldwing bobber. Really interesting bike if that's what I was after. Looked to be well done. My rough math indicates that about half the pre-87 bikes for sale are Goldwings.

    I wouldn't mind a 75 or 76 Gold Wing, they had a detachable kick start pedal that went on the left side.
