    Funny stuff by email...

    I can't find the other thread with this, so will start a new one.
    Jokes & other musings received in email, these from my almost 88 year old mom.

    SEX AT 68
    I just took a leaflet out of my mailbox, informing me that I can have sex at 68.
    I'm so happy, because I live at number 72.
    So it's not too far to walk home afterwards.
    And it's the same side of the street.
    I don't even have to cross the road!
    ~~~~~
    Answering machine message:
    "I am not available right now, but thank you for caring enough to call.
    I am making some changes in my life.
    Please leave a message after the beep.
    If I do not return your call, you are one of the changes."
    Blessed are those who can give without remembering and take without forgetting.
    The irony of life is that by the time you're old enough to know your way around, you're not going anywhere.
    ~~~~~
    God made man before woman so as to give him time to think of an answer for her first question.
    ~~~~~
    I was always taught to respect my elders, but it keeps getting harder to find one.
    OK, Mom sent another email, this was one I've never heard before:
    I was checking out at the local store with just a few items and the lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up one of those dividers that they keep by the cash register and placed it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed. After the girl had scanned all of my items, she picked up the divider, looking it all over for the bar code so she could scan it.
    Not finding the bar code, she said to me, 'Do you know how much this is?'
    I said to her 'I've changed my mind; I don't think I'll buy that today.'
    She said 'OK,' and I paid her for the things and left.
    She had no clue to what had just happened. But the lady behind me had a big smirk on her face as I left.
