    Probably how not to do it, but video shows when I had a nice 1983 Suzuki pull up along side me. Chatted for a bit (extremely nice guy) and told him to go ahead (mostly cause I wanted to admire his bike) but he said let's just go together. Poor guy got caught not being able to see around vehicles to make a safe left turn on yellow, where I was back far enough to see when it was okay to go. Saw he didn't go so I was okay to take the full lane on the turn.

    Yep, they are made special for us riders who can't seem to ever trigger a light.

    We recently switched to flashing yellows in the left turn lanes here. The old set-up entailed a green arrow that would change to a green light but too many people couldn't figure out that you still have to yield to oncoming traffic --- you know, green means go --- so they switched to flashing ambers with the hope of better gaining their attention.
