I bet you're just saying that because he has his legs so tight together.

was the only shot I got where he had both feet up

Home an hour and a half ago. Should have taken a longer route!

I was definitely tired and struggling when you took those shots. Too bad you didn't get a picture of me rolling down that hill the day before.

Had an awesome time. If anybody ever gets a chance to ride with Mr. Trials, do it. But beware! When he says, "Just follow me!", it's not that easy.

Good on ya Matt for being a good sport! I'm not sure I have the nerve to go trials riding with him.

He was doing pretty good too!
Right up until he stuck that dead tree branch through the front spokes. that kind of put a damper on all forward progress

:I can't take responsibility for that one, never showed him how to do that, he did that trick totally on his own.

I didn't even try to keep up. Just stood there goggle eyed while he disappeared down trails so steep I'll hesitate to walk down, then come back up a sheer cliff. All while looking backwards to see if I was following.

I'd like to think that I did eventually learn something, though. Can now climb up a knee high ledge without looping out, running out of momentum and rolling backwards, or landing with the front brake on and having a crotch-to-gas-tank experience. I don't recommend any of those options.

Years from now whenever anybody does a stoppie and then tumbles sideways into a patch of raspberry canes, I'll be there with my chest puffed out like Barney Fife saying, yeah, I did that first. They'll name that move after me.

I'm game, but I'd have to tweak the bike a bit...
