    Response Editor

What's going on with the reply box editor features? They have disappeared. When I quote or reply to a post it ends up one long line that can't be separated. I know it's not just me, as I saw someone else comment on it in the Divisional Championship thread.{EDIT} that last sentence was typed as a new paragraph, as was this one.

I see the paragraphs, but what is gone is the 'advanced reply'. Shadow and I must have the same gremlins, but I saw some other posts with same poor formating in the thread he referenced.*paragraph entered here, what do you see?*I used to be able to use CRTL+B to bold words, it doesn't work anymore.*paragraph entered here, what do you see?*I checked my settings and nothing is changed.*paragraph entered here, what do you see?*Thanks - Gerry

yep, I think something is busted! Difference I see is now when I type in the edit box, the box turns blue/gray, where it did not do that before. Also, the advanced edit is at the very end of thread, but you used to be able to opt for it during the 'quote from post' reply method. Thanks! Gerry

There's something wonky. I sent Derick an email yesterday but haven't heard anything back yet.
My suspicion is that an update or something renamed or moved files so that callouts to them are broken.

I am able to make paragraphs and manually insert code to make bold print.
I have the standard editor chosen in my settings rather than the WYSIWYG, that may be the difference on that part.

I'll let you know if I hear anything from Derick.

In the meantime whats the coding for making paragraphs? These run-on sentences just aren't cutting the mustard.

    I think it's [p] and [/p] at the end of a paragraph.

    Although...that didn't work, so...maybe not.

In the standard editor, simply putting a blank line between paragraphs usually works...

But, right now, it is like whatever javascript library the board uses is not being found. When it is working, <Ctrl><I> will make something italic, for example.

The lack of javascript takes out the emoticons, so you have to manually insert them like this .

This may be a temporary side-effect of the accelerator service Derrick said he was using, if they've got something screwed up in the caching.
