If that's allowed, I'd like to add an idea: when you post a challenge, you have to post your own pic showing whatever it is (might eliminate too many, uh, impossible challenges...). Here's mine (should be an easy one): your bike with a bridge

I have a railway not too far from the house but I would've been wasting time sitting and waiting for a train to roll by.

I like the idea of posting a pic of the challenge you're putting out there to prevent someone from putting up an impossible one.

I think the judge(s) can also weigh in on the impossible challenges and move things along.

I don't think these rules (as I read them in the OP) prohibits posting old pics, but generally, the idea behind the game is to get out and ride and take new pics. I guess the OP could rule on it.

The point is to give people excuses to go out for a ride. I don't think we should make you post a pic of what you're after for the next challenge. The way we're doing it on the other forum is that once a challenge is posted, a week or so timer starts. If, after a week is up, nobody's posted a pic, we loosen the criteria or the poster of the current challenge can choose a different one. For example, allowing older pictures, like Kootenany's up there.

For example, I made a challenge over there of a picture of your bike being used for a camping trip. Nobody got that one after a week, so we loosened it up to your bike with a tent, then finally allowed old pictures. The guy that got that one made a challenge of your bike in front of someone protesting. A week passed and he changed it to just someone with a sign. Another week passed and he changed it to in front of a federal law enforcement agency building.

We can still have the judge(s) rule on the possibility or impossibility of a challenge. Any volunteers to give me a hand with that? :mrgeen:

OK... just to recap because my brain is fried:

Challenge is posted, no need for challenger to post a pic showing challenge.
We give it about a week and if no one is able to take the "tag" then challenge is altered. If another few days or so goes by with no result, then we'll accept an existing picture.

    Lather, rinse, repeat.

    Seems simple enough to me!

    So, where we at?

Bike with a train (due to using existing pic) or with a bridge?

I think they should, but then again, I just really like to look at pictures. And...I got new bifocals!!! Posted pictures are better than no pictures.
