    Dropping the charges doesn't preclude them refiling the charges. The double indemnity clause doesn't let them recharge you once you've stood trial and been acquitted. But if they never take you to trial... they can charge you again.

    I tried googling yesterday for any info and found none...which alone is infuriating.
    I'm awaiting some return phone calls to get the scoop. Meant to ask hubby tonight since he had already heard info at a party we threw, but I forgot...and he's asleep now that's after 11 pm in NY.
