That's my kind of plan!
He got what was coming to him, I have no pity for people the can't control their vehicle in traffic.

Retired Eagle Driver, long live the eagle.
Had a response eaten by the forum earlier... basic synopsis: Based on the driver's claim to having been threatened with a knife, and the article stating 'multiple motorcycle clubs' being in attendance, I would assume at least the satellite participation of some 1% types. In which case, the young 19-y/o 'let me record these bikers on my cellphone' Prius-driving retard is lucky he didn't get dead.

I get the sense of poetic justice, but all this does is make motorcyclists look bad!

Agreed.
This being the important statement...
Having known a handful of 1% MC members, I can tell you that most of them of great guys and would do just about anything to help anyone out. UNTIL........you f@ck with them, try to run them off the road, or succeed in running them over because you're acting stupid (in comes Prius driver). Then you may very well be putting your personal safety in danger.several motorcycle clubs

It's still an unfair fight. Like a linebacker trying to beat up an 8 year old. And if the 19 year old biker crashes into a car because he is trying to use a cell phone while riding, the cage driver should kick his ass.
Having almost been run over many times by cagers using cellphones, it's a miracle that I'm not in prison.
Car versus bike is never a fair fight. The bike loses every time. I personally don't think "distracted driving" is near severe enough. He tried to kill a bunch of riders. And don't call it an accident. You can try to say it was unintentional , but if you load the gun, put your finger on the trigger, point it at someone, and then the gun "accidentally" goes off...you're not going to be charged with "distracted shooting".

I definitely agree with the "with great mass comes great responsibilty" diea... the larger your vehicle in relation to others around you, the more responsibility you have to control your vehicle. Same goes for large pickups, SUVs, commercial vehicles. I'd think that reckless endangerment would be appropriate.
I disagree on the gun analogy. Loading a firearm, placing your finger on the trigger, and aiming it at someone shows clear intent to harm. This would be more inline with carrying a loaded weapon and handling it in an irresponsible way, say, firing after being dropped. Just because something is accidental doesn't mean it is blameless.
