Thread: What's on your bucket list?

  1. #21
If we're including non-motorcycle stuff, I have a huge list I am trying to complete in the next five years or so...

    Just a few...

    Get my pilot's license
    Camp in Kakadu (again)
    Camp in Litchfield Park (again)
Take a leisurely two week river cruise from one end of Europe to the other
    Climb several 14ers
    Learn to brew good beer
Surf ankle-slappers on a 12' board in Waikiki for a couple weeks
Get over my fear of horses and go for a ride
Get over my fear of helicopters and go for a ride
Learn to wheelie (okay, motorcycle related)

    There are many more...

Hike the 48 states in 10 months.
I have to get another state so it doesn't look like a big map of Texas.

However, since we are talking about bucket lists, and I am a home brewer, another 6.5 gallon bucket, and a 15 gallon bucket would be nice!

Tierra del Fuego (yes, on a motorcycle). And back. Coming back would be good.

Pretty well for the last 30 years every time I've said "I've always wanted to do blank..." Gigi has challenged me to do it starting immediately. Some things like scuba diving were a little disappointing...others like soaring hang gliders were beyond fantasy...if I lived near decent soaring mountains I'd still be doing it... I don't think I'll ever tire of flying aerobatics or ridng off onto new roads on a motorcycle...and will probably continue til mind or body fail...

    Avoid kicking it.

In the end, regrets rarely come from things done, but from things not even tried.
