    Cool Hrc

    I read - HRC NSF250R
185 lbs. ~47 hp from their new 250 cc 4 stroke single
...has anybody seen this one or the smaller 100cc version in the flesh, sounds like a blast

The NSF100R came out about the time I got my NSR50. Really wanted the NSF, but price made the deal for me so I went with the NSR I found that was still brand new in the crate. The NSF100R is essentially identical to the NSR50, just 4 stroke vs. 2 stroke.

Neat! I suppose my local Honda dealer or even the Canadian Honda distributor would know as much about these as they do the RTL260

...would love to see some pics of your NSR50

I have a bad feeling the NSF stands for Non Sufficient Funds

Is that the new Moto3 spec bike?

    EDIT: Yep, according to Google.

Looks pretty cool, but damn I miss two-strokes...

I haven't looked at it in great length, but a quick read of the Moto3 spec tells me yes!

Check out how sturdy that rear swingarm looks, you think a lightweight jockey like me could make that thing sail

edit: looks like a full floating rear brake linkage too, yes?

I'm actually kind of surprised the swingarm isn't carbon fiber.

FIM says: "- Minimum total weight of Motorcycle + Rider: 148kg"
With this rule in place I wouldn't want it any lighter, would be just that much more weight I need to gain.
...I'd be the guy getting hosed down and filling my boots with water immediately prior to tech inspection

? if Moto3 replaces the 125 class, what class is the 100cc 4-stroke intended to compete in ?

Yes, it appears so. How many here know what we're talking about?

Ouch! Figures, I finally found a price tag hint for the NSF250R and I was right, at over 200$ per pound the NSF stands for Non Sufficient Funds.

Oh well, looks like an F3 is still on my spring 2012 wish list
