She might want to look at the TTR-125 for a bit more pep without a lot more seat height. Brandi is 5'2 and does just fine on her TTR-125. (and no the static sag hasn't been setup for Brandi either)

Also, keep in mind that the TTR-90 is an automatic clutch 3-speed manual (iirc).

I'm 5 foot even and have had no problem with the TTR-125. Don't remember the year of the bike. It does come in two versions. The one I was riding came with the small diameter wheels which made the difference for me.
One plus for me with the TTR - electric start!!
