    The same problem occurs in Windows Live Mail.

    The problem is that there is no e-mail address in the From: field so there is no sender or domain to allow, mark as safe, add to contacts, etc.

    From: "Beginnerbikers.org" <>
    There should be a setting to configure that in vBulletin.

    Right... but I want to check with Derick on it first and make sure there isn't a reason I don't know about that it's set the way it is.
    (One I can think of is emails bouncing back from now defunct user addresses, but there's various solutions for that)

    I'm not sure what you mean by "emails bouncing back from now defunct user addresses" ut ANY message from beginnerbikers.org shows the same thing
    This message has been blocked for your safety. Open messag
    This message may be dangerous. Learn more

    and no hotmail has no way to add it as a safe message even after i opened and read it , the next time i see it it keeps telling me

    Look under options and select more options. Select Safe and blocked senders under junk mail. Select safe senders, add admin@beginnerbikers.org, this lets mail thru as safe in my throwaway hotmail account.

    may wish to set up a new folder for junk also, can't see how but I have one and it allows you to simply select the not junk. This, of course, will add the sender to a safe list. No idea why MSN makes it so hard to add a folder but I did not see it, use Thunderbird myself so only glanced in there.

    so i went here
    Options►Safe and blocked senders►Safe senders
    added this email
    admin@beginnerbikers.org,
    also added the domain
    beginnerbikers.org
    www.beginnerbikers.org
    in the Safe senders and domains: list they come up as
    @beginnerbikers.org
    @www.beginnerbikers.org
    i also tried putting it in junk mail then marking it as "not junk" but it stills shows as:

    I haven't heard back from Derick, but I went ahead and made a change.

    Let me know if the next email you get works better.

    success! it's working now! i think its because i added admin@beginnerbikers.org to the safe list and now when i receive a message it shows From: Beginnerbikers.org (admin@beginnerbikers.org) instead of just From: Beginnerbikers.org

    THANKS!

    Heck haven't been riding, so nothing to post about on that, so I'll post a thank you too.
    Geez, this mindless posting is not nearly as much fun as riding. I can't wait til I have more time to ride and occupy my time better!!
