is it against some "rider code"....

For someone who doesnt ride dirt, to wear a dirt jersey as a regular shirt?

#1 My mom got me one for xmas thinking it was just another Fox shirt
(good thing the riding pants werent on sale! she said she almost got me those too!)

#2 I have always liked dirt jerseys - the fabric is thin but breathable & the graphics are better then most casual wear shirts!

Ive just always assumed its somewhat sacraligious to wear em as shirts for some reason

Not that I'm aware of....but then again mine are only worn when I'm either riding, at a race (so I don't get my good clothes muddy as hell) or coaching a BRC....

I don't know, but for purely philanthropic reasons I'll say your right...

...and you should take that shirt off immediately!

+1 to what he said ^^.

Oh, and I don't think it's sacrilegious. I was considering getting a set of dirt riding pants as street pants as the appear to have abrasion properties better than straight jeans, since I wear leg armor underneath anyway.
