By hooligan, I am going to assume something that encourages the rider to be naughty...and I like it.

My vote is the Ninja ZX-14. The ease of the power was intoxicating. It made me do a naughty thing at Bug Bash. That being, 65 MPH in 2nd gear. And I liked it.

    The one under the hooligan?

Is this a trick question? Do I win a prize?

    Something streetfightered.

    Speed Triple

    KTM Superduke.

Short wheelbase, tons of torque, wheelie monster, looks mean.

    I want one.

I'm not sure I follow the term "hooligan" just right. Why would a naked bike or a streetfighter be more "hooligan" than a sportbike? Tough image? Resemblence to the Triumphs that Marlon Brando and the Fonz rode? The R6 and GSX-R's seem to be the preferred bikes for riding with the stupidometer pegged, at least round these parts.

Hooligan bikes have to be tough enough to survive wheelies, drops, riding over curbs, splitting lanes, up and down stairs, train tracks. They are not track day princesses or bike night / bar hopping sissys.

Monster power, light weight, naked and raw.

    My top three...
    Triumph Speed Triple
    KTM Super Duke
    Aprilia Tuono

I've ridden all of them and I think I'd lose my license with any of them.

Of course, a true hooligan would never be seen on ANY of these bikes, at least not in such "pretty" shape. Their bike would have to be salvage title, rat bike in flat black (or better yet Rhino liner), and with bodged up personalized things like hand guards, flip-up license plate, and the minimum in legal lights and signals.
