The new ones? They replaced my mirrors... so... they're just rear views.

If you're talking about the small ones that were on my stock mirrors, then yes, those were for 'blind spots'

I always thought Fieros were neat little cars.

They were. Their engines tended to explode. But they were light as a feather.

They were the Miata of the 80s. The new Miata is the Jetta. Almost always driven by cute girls or good-looking gay guys. Either way, pull up and deliver your best pick-up line.

Actually, the first year Fieros overheated some. I commuted 80 miles each way through the New Mexico desert to work and never had an overheating problem.

Well, I had a Festiva for awhile, and was still able to get dates...imagine if I had had a Miata!

Now that I've had a chance to use the mirrors for a little bit:

    Pros:
    - The ability to adjust them 'on the fly' or at stop signs easily. I couldn't do that with the stock ones.
    - Great field of view behind you, especially given their size (3")
    - They look great

    Cons:
    - Extend the 'size' of your bike... they protrude out on the handlebars, so for those who lane-split (illegal here in MA, but for those of you in CA), this might be a problem. I got the LS rather than the fixed, which means you can fold them in for storage... or if you happen to whack something the force will fold the mirror.
    - Since I fold them up when I put the cover on, I need to adjust them every time I go ride. That's not that big of a negative issue though...
