    Your best photos.

Since we're shameless photowhores around here, I want to see some of your best. At one time I had a pretty good eye and a camera that made me look good.

I want to see the best photos you've taken, motorcycle or not. My best were taken before I got my bike, and sometimes the best moments happen and can't be made.

I'll start with my favorites, and I'll add more later.

Sunset over the lake at Camp Nakanawa in Tn. The Tennessee Star Party was held there for several years and is the best place I've ever seen for such an event.

Digital rocks, I can't tell you how many times I tried to get this and have the buliding and stars in one shot.

Bet I took thirty pics of this guy, but this is the only one I caught with him looking at me. This one was put into a calendar by a local geocaching group.

While I don't care for high humidity, it makes for great shots like this.

I'm a sucker for the lone tree kind of shots.

In case anyone was wondering what I look like. Not that it's a great shot, but it's neat because those clouds behind me are actually below me and arching up over the mountain I'm on. This was at Clingmans Dome in NC.

Let's see your favorite photos. General, no theme necessary.

Steve, that night shot is one of the prettiest pictures I have seen, is that Caney Creek ? It is gorgeous!!

OK I'll play, here are some of mine.

I took this in the morning going to meet Twinturbo and Lilypad for a ride to Grandfather's mountain.

At Grandfather mountain, they gave us instruction and warning slips before we rode the road up to the top.

My favorite place to eat lunch.

Greasy Creek Road, I like seeing the road so far off and making all the turns to get over there...

    Note date at bottom, brrrrrr....

    This fall's colors.

Stunning, all of them! I'll have to rummage, but I know I don't have any as great as these!

This is one from a recent trip up above Silverton. I liked the light on the clouds:

    One of my favorites

Wow....definitely MY kind of thread!!! I'm just going to post one right now as it's late and I'm beat. This one was really an accident. I spotted it in the backyard and ran out to try and catch it.

Bill, that night shot was taken in Crossville Tn, about mid state. Those folks aren't around a fire, they're walking by red flashlight. It's about a 15 second exposure which is why it came through so bright. Caney Creek is as dark though, that shot would be easy there, too bad we probably won't go back. But hey, think of all the people we'll be able to crowd in! (Ignore the background grumble.)

    Some more I found.

    Cades Cove at sunset.

Same evening, I have a couple of different exposures to blend if I ever learn how.

    Love those mountains.

Ask me what the graffiti on the rock wall said sometime.

Mountains. Notice a preference with me? Wanna guess where I'll live one day?

Hanging out in the back yard one day.

All so far have been great, Jo, I really like the one of the snow and clouds. The lighting was great for that one.

    Nice pics, folks!

    Here's a couple of mine.

From my "business trip" to Napa Valley ...

From a local State Park / Beach where Sharon and I got married ...

I like that "lone tree" thing too ...

I don't have access to all my pictures, but I have already put some of my favorites in photobucket. I'm particularly fascinated by how light illuminates things.

A view of the faces on my 2006 trip to Sturgis, SD.

I converted a few to black and white and I think they turned out ok.
The ruins of the original church at the Taos Pueblo in New Mexico.

Beach grass at Atlantic Beach in NC.

A nice shot of the Atlantic Ocean.

This is a shot of the christmas cactus that bloomed on Thanksgiving Day. This is taken with a Kodak digital camera purchased from WalMart. This picture really looks best when you can view it full size. But, here's the burst of color for the end.

Thanks for this thread. I love looking at great photos!
