General history: I was born 8-12-55 in Brooklyn, NY. Lived in Brooklyn and Queens until 1980 when I joined the Navy. Spent 8 years in the Navy, I was a Reactor Operator on submarines, I also spent a couple of those years teaching at Nuclear Power Training Unit in NY. Lived various places during my Navy career, including Orlando, Chicago, Saratoga Springs (NY), San Diego, Portsmouth (NH), Groton (CT) and Boston. Got out of the Navy in 1988 and came to Bloomington, IN where I got a job at Indiana University Cyclotron Facility as an Accelerator Operator. I've been there since.
Personal history: I was the eldest of six kids. My parents are still alive, well, and together. I married my first wife in 1976, have 2 daughters who have subsequently each made me a grandfather. Got divorced in 1985 and remarried in 1988. I'm still married and have 2 sons born in 1993 and 1997.
