• First Gear Kiliminjaro Air Mesh Jacket

So, I'm not a huge leather person, and while I was shopping for my jacket, I was offered the FG KJ Air Jacket. Overall, I love it. It has a mesh overcoat and a windproof and waterproof removable liner The jacket is great down to about 30 degrees, and with the removable liner it's capable in warm weather riding as well.

It's a 3/4 length jacket, so depending on your bike, it MAY bunch. I am 6'3", so it bunches a little bit, but due to my height I need that extra little bit of length.

As I mentioned, overall it is a great jacket. There are some downfalls unfortunately. 1) Cheap zippers. I've broken the main zipper already and I am pretty pissed, but it still works ok. 2) It's decent in cold weather riding, but there is kind of a draft in the back where the liner meets the shell.

I would highly recommend the jacket if you can get it on sale. I paid 250 for it, and while it was well worth it, in retrospect, I wouldn't pay more than 200 for it. Enjoy your ride!

The first time the clutch dropped out on a corner bringing it home from the dealer certainly got my attention. Once I got used to that it seems pretty stable to me.

I knew where to find values for older machines but not where to look for something fairly current. I was able to find out that my two older bikes (1975 and 1982) are more valuable than my "new" 2008.
