    I picked up one of these helmets when I accidentally dropped my HJC CL14 and broke the mechanism that controls the visor. While, I was not happy that I just destroyed my helmet, AND had to ride home without a visor; I was already looking around for a new helmet.

    I was originally considering the HJC SyMax and and a few others that we flip face, but in the end, I am most comfortable with a traditional full face. Let me say, I love this helmet. I bought two for the price of one HJC CL15, and these helmets are far superior.

    DOT and Snell 2000 Certified the Icon is surprisingly light, comfortable, and most importantly, quiet. My HJC was also very affected by wind, oddly enough the Icon seems to cut right through it. Interesting. Anyhow, it's got a built in scoop on the top of the helmet if you need additional ventilation, however I haven't needed it.

    It's got a built in quasi-face-mask to prevent fogging, but in reality there is no seal between your face and the helmet, so it's usefulness is a little short.

    To summarize, this is a fantastic helmet, AND a fantastic buy at newenough.com right now. As I said, I picked up 2, one of the solid color design, and one of the Rubatone design. I really like the rubatone because it travels well. It's not nearly affected by bumps and dings as your traditional gloss paint helmet is.
