    To whom it may concern,

Greetings, Please find attached my application for the SaddleSore 1000. I have attached the receipts, a copy of the exact route taken via MyTracks from google, and this document with the zoomed in map shots of the stops.

I kept my log real time during the ride and my handwriting is far from great so here is the data in typed form:

  2. My Two Weeks of Searching and Researching About, and for, Bikes

Well, I decided to "chronicle" my journey into motorcycles; more specifically the weeks leading up to my purchase and the subsequent week/s after. I will start with the two weeks prior to my purchase which was mid June.

A little background, I was a school teacher and recently transitioned into an admin position and also currently expecting my first child around August. School ended and I initially looked for a minivan as I felt it may be necessary but after a week of searching ...

  3. The one thing I hate about riding motorcycles...

As I was coming back from a ride, I realized the one thing that I hate about my rides is stopping. When I go for a ride I don't want to stop moving, I try to find roads with no stop signs. When I am on the bike I feel graceful, when I ride to a stop especially when I park, when I start up again it feels awkward, especially cause my bike is top heavy. Going too fast was the biggest mistake, even then though it seemed like it came out of nowhere and there was no way I could ...

  5. The Next 90 Miles (continued)

    The Next 90 Miles (continued)

April 8. 6.5 miles, 43.1 miles total. Had to run errands, decided to take the motorcycle. Had to make quick shopping/bank stops then off to a clients site. Upon arriving I had to parallel park the bike on the street. A big open space is available, I pull right up and stop. The bikeís not quite in the position I want it to be so I attempt to move it. Of course the road is an incline. No problem! I can handle a start on a hill, after all, Iíve been ...
