Well, seeing as how the next Ice Age has begun and I'm never going to be able to ride my bike again, I figured we may as well be warm. I just finished putting in a new marble & slate hearth and installed a wood stove:

While the fireplace looks great, you can't ride the fireplace through the beautiful hills of MA and CT. My bike is cold and sitting in the garage while I have the lack of riding withdrawal symptoms....ugh :angry2: :angry2:

Want to do something like that in our back room before next winter- although I'll probably have to go with a propane fireplace, as the whole house is brick and there's no chimney back there (or some such thing H says)-

Well, looks like it's 78 and sunny here. To bad I'm stuck at work. Can't wait until tomorrow for the Mid-TN group ride. :D
