This is very important IMO. Especially with the influx of Chinese bikes in the US.

However, at prices up to 90 percent more than in the US due to Chinese customs duties and other taxes, only the very rich can afford the bikes, which cost between 100 000 and 300 000 yuan ($12 300 and $37 000) each in China.

This is crap and must be resolved soon.

"Trying to sell in China for 50 years"? Who makes this stuff up? Come on, nobody tried to sell a Harley in China between 1948 and ~1995!

They sell plently of Rollexes and even a few Ferraris in China now. Harley is uniquely situated among premium motorcycle manufacturers because an FHL with a TLE sidecar beats the various Chinese bans on motorcycles over 250cc's.

Anyway, they can use the display bikes to sell "branded items" and make good money. At the next Chinese student protest on the international news, look for Harley t-shirts!
