OH GOOD LORD!!!!!!! I am gone for a few days and the inmates overrun the asylum! Sheesh, where to even start.....First let me thank all the wonderful men of BB.org for posting those De-LICK-ious pics! And may I quote Bugguts when I say "WHERE DO I SEND THE MONEY?!?!?!?!?" Secondly, Chrystal this is something that must be handled delicately(and frequently!) and as such we should show proper respect(on my knees genuflecting right now! Ok, well on my knees anyway.....) by sending out Thank You cards to the wives and girlfriends of our wonderful men for sharing them with us! I would have Bill post a pic but he is terribly camera shy(although one of him stretched across his 2 R1's wouldn't be a bad idea....) So when does this baby go into production and what can I do to help(in the interest of raising funds for the site of course as I get no personal enjoyment from objectifying men....... ;) )

Btw, pics of anyone wrenching on your bikes sans shirt are always acceptable because I like it dirty!

HO! I mean HOld on there Chrystal! Bigger is always better and man cleaveage is very attractive although I have yet to meet a man with greater cleavage than mine!
For the record!!! I mean, a bigger picture!!! My apologies to Caddie if he takes that the wrong way. :)

Asp is single? You could always join my "man harem". I'm always taking apps. :) Thanks to MissyBnaughty.

Then, dalan, RMRR, Larry_K need to pick months.

Mmmmmmmmmmm...... Dalan already used the 'put me wherever you want' line, so I can NOT use that one. :-)

How about October? Oh yeah, not sure who you said was too young, but if it was me I'm actually 33. I never hear 'too young' much anymore but I AM used to hearing 'Go away ya old pervert' quite a bit! Also, I'm SO glad I didn't post the pics of me in the chaps sans pants. Saving those pics for the 'other' poster, hee hee.

Being that you're only a few years younger than me, you're not old - at least I don't consider myself old.

As for the "go away ya old pervert" - maybe trolling the local highschools shouldn't be part of your dating habits anymore (just kidding).

Darlene, Great tease! That calendar will be on the agenda too... but we need to get this one finished first! Otherwise I'm on board with doing what I can . ;)

Now c'mon guys... What! We have only nine of us here who understand what makes a man attractive to a woman! Please tell me we can do better than that!

Let's spell a couple of them out... Paduan mentioned one...
*Make 'em laugh! (I might point out that more than a few giggle uncontollably at that moment). ;)

In no particular order...

*Confidence (but beware the line between over-inflated ego and confidence)
*Not hung up on the prevailing idea of "cool" - Doesn't worry about what his friends think. If it's fun, he does it.
*Spontaneous- one example- doesn't wait for Valentine's Day to do something nice.
*Listens! Really listens. (Even while eyeing the boobies) ;)
*Has a cute butt.
*Understands that unless everyone gets "a piece of cake" it wasn't really a party. ;)

C'mon guys... step up to the plate!

Well poo, NOW someone tells me! ;-) One thing kind of funny, when I got divorced about two years ago, I was just turning 31, and my biggest fear was that all the women I'd meet would think I was an 'old perv', hee hee. Actually dated some girls in the early 20's and oh my, that was just awkward. I had forgoten how goofy I acted back when I was a wee lad.

Of course, my g/f is two years older than me. Have found, older=better, MUCH better!

Subvet.... You pretty much hit on EVERYTHING I know on how to make a woman want to be around you, but I do know of one other thing, that normally has worked for me.

If this makes sense (hope so!). Do not be afraid of being shy, not that it's a big draw for women that I've known but it IS something that shows you're not all full of yourself. I'm normally a *very* shy person at first, but once I've opened up I have a hard time shutting my mouth.

Makes sense to me. Although instead of looking at it as being shy, include it in with being a good listener... and the last part includes not being afraid to speak up if you have something to say.

My list was just a few highlights... I don't know, but I've been told "a quiet strength" is also on the list.

We have some similarities and some differences... I too got divorced at 30 after 10 years of marriage. Figured I was done, had no clue how to "date." I wound up with a 21 yr old! She's my wife now. Been my wife for 17 years, we've been together for 20.
Age doesn't make a bit of difference. When it's right, it's right.

One technical thing I'd like to add. Make sure the pictures you are sending in are "high-res". As high-res as possible since these photos will probably be enlarged to fit the size of a calendar. 72ppi that the web uses isn't going to cut it.

Hmm, I've been lurking here for a while, wondering if I should participate or anything. See, I'm no longer single, I'm MARRIED! YAY ME! So, am I eligible for this? I mean, you all must realize that before Deb and I met I had warned her ... seriously folks ... that once she met me ... WHAM, she'd be under my spell, she'd fall for me, that it was Inevitable. I mean, seriously, when you're this kind of impressive manly studmuffin hunka-manmeat studly guy ... these things are expected. Like many of you are doing now, she laughed, rolled her eyes ... but she's MINE NOW! We're married! So ... just beware ladies ...

After some further thought, I've chosen more tame photos of me so as to be kinder to our fellow lady riders on this forum ... Although I do live in Utah and that whole Polygamy thing is legal here, it's not my thing. One wife is enough. :-)

So, I started out joking about the calendar, then realized I could put something together as a fun/joke way to get a few donations. Kind of like "Hey, Chrystal put (company) time into making this crappy calendar, so I'll humor her by sending DB a few dollars".

Now it's gonna be a real calendar?? Sweet if so!

I'd have to back away from anything like that though because I can't do anymore than cut, paste, print and staple. :) http://www.twtex.com/images/smiles/icon_crackup.gif

I'd vote for a real one if that's even open for discussion.

If anyone has one of those software programs that creates posters, sometimes you can create calendars with them too. I don't have anything like that or I would offer to help. I wouldn't suggest taking the items to a print shop, they'll charge too much. Or make it even easier, create a 12 month calendar all on one page and have a collage of the photos at the top. That way it wouldn't need bound in any way.

Just my $.02...

So what is the minimum resolution we need for the pics? If we can set some guidliness for those crazy... erm I mean foolish... um brave enough to post their pictures and perhaps collect them in a central location it'll probably work.

(I can't believe I'm contributing to this madness).

EDIT: Found the information I was looking for:
Looking at their website it looks like 2300x1800 is ideal (200 dpi) for a wall calendar size. Anything with the range of 150dpi-300dpi is acceptable.

EDIT2: So minimum would be 1725x1350 for their requirements

Exactly, youve got the res guidelines, but also, thats including whatever artsy, or interested effects we might put on it....<shrug> could be anything.

So, the higer the res, the better...

I would say, PG-PG13 rated...if ppl here buy it, I would want them to be comfortable in putting it in the house with kids.

Somehow ... I missed this thread. How? I can't explain that. But I can honestly say I found it now and - thanks for making my afternoon go so quickly and so pleasantly. I truly enjoyed ... browsing ... through the pictures.

Heh. All the bike pictures are all geared up so you can't even see my face. (Not that that's a /bad/ thing...)

But here's one from an FBI event:

Are there going to be guidelines like the picture has to be of the person on the bike, with/near the bike, or are you opening it up to general shots just to know what the people look like?

And I think it needs to be restated, hi-res folks! 72 dpi that's posted on the web isn't going to make it in the printing production process.

I've offered to help do any post processing on the pictures so I would make sure they're at a print-quality resolution.

Hell... where's the edited one? :)

Here's another WWW one (with a hi-res link, though the poor server will choke if lots of people hit the latter)
