Well, since work makes it tough to find the time to ride one bike, let alone two, I have to part with the Virago. It's got 10,900 miles on it, but it's been to every single one of the recommended services. It has like-new Pirelli Route tires on it (they might have maybe a thousand miles on them and they'll probably last another 10k). It also has an O-ring chain that's maybe been on it for two thousand miles.

I bought it in March of 03 used it as a commuter vehicle to college, so it hasn't been ridden hard...it's in good condition and has never been down, so there's no damage to it anywhere. I'm an MSF RiderCoach and a woman, so it hasn't been stunted or anything (not like you could, anyway! ;-) ). Also, it's always been garaged.

I'm looking for $2500 or "best offer" like the title of this thread says. The bike is located in Carbondale, IL, which is in the southern part of the state.

If anybody has any questions (or offers) or whatever, either reply here or shoot me an e-mail at j o n a s a k u r a (at) a o l (dot) c o m (without the spaces and with the @ and . symbols, obviously).

Here's a pretty picture:

This is a FAN-tastic beginner bike. Lightweight, easy to ride, will do 65-70 mph on the freeway if needed. I've got one in my garage that my daughter rides (previously my first bike). :) Good luck!

Uh, I don't know how to edit the title of this post to reflect the price change, but I still have the bike and am lowering the price on this tto $2200 or best offer. So make me an offer!

Too bad the bike is in IL and I'm in FL... It would probably be very cost prohibitive to ship it this far... :biker:

According to the internet, shipping would be about $600 (I only looked at places who had flat rates I could look at so, it's possible that there are lower prices). So, unfortunately, probably.

Look at RL carriers and Forward Air, too. It's a lot cheaper than Allied or other places. Still, it'll be a couple hundred dollars for you to do it. Also, during the race season, scan around for races in the buyer's area. There are usually guys from close by you that will transport a bike for some cash.
