Who here on the forum is proud to wear the black and gold? Who's going to be waving there terrible towels and cheering on The Bus as he rumbles past the Pats on the way to the Superbowl? So sound of Steeler fans and show your support.

I am so with you on that one! I don't have a terrible towel :( but I will be waving my Steelers bowling towel and screaming like a lunatic! My sister is a Steelers fan and when my oldest son was two she taught him to say "Steel Curtain" and from then on he has been a fan(he is 15 1/2 now) and our youngest is 6 1/2 and he is a Steelers fan too! Funny thing is, we are all born and raised in Northern California. LMAO! Except for Hubby and he is from Michigan and that explains why he doesn't follow football ;)

Ugh. They only team I dislike more than the Steelers are the Raiders. Oh, it probably comes from been born and raised in Philly. Not even the slightest desire to to see an all-PA bowl, because IMO Philly has to beat the defending champs in the Super Bowl to overcome the choker label. Falcons? Puhhlease...

Go Pats!

Myron Cope's birthday is on Sunday, January 23. Since I know that, does it make me a Steelers Fan?

Way to go, Allan!

Obviously, the Pats fan has issue's with reading ;) . This is the "Steeler Nation!" thread! Born and raised in Aliquippa, P.A. as a Steelers fan from the day I was born.

The only thing that ticks me off is that where I'm at, the game starts somewhere around 5:30AM and I'm out the door ten minutes later for work.

Hey Darlene,

I wonder if I am the only one having a hard time reading your posts. Yellow on white is hard on the old eyes.

NFL.com reports your fan thread is here https://www.richardsimmons.com/bull_board.asp

Odd that of all the OUTSTANDING Pittsburgh players you could've mentioned, you mention Ben, that tells me he's the one you fear most...

Redgoose, don't forget: The football gods giveth and the football gods taketh away  . It's the Patsy's run right now, but it isn't forever. Someday soon you'll be on the other side, maybe next season, will you still be a Pats fan then?

Both teams look to have a lot of personnel changes coming up. Live it now, next year it looks like we'll find out if NE's head coach is truly a genius, or if he relied on his coaching staff. I wish Crennel the best of luck in Cleveland next year, he'll need it.

Well, the folks who've made the Pats the #1 merchandising team in the NFL will move on, that's true. Don't see too many 49ers fans anymore.

Those of us who are long term Pats fans have been rooting for them through years of them being afterthoughts in the AFC. We're also mostly Bosox fans, so do you really need to ask if we have the staying power to root for a team that loses for a season or two?

You're right, the football gods both giveth and taketh. Bellichek is going to have a hard time losing both coordinators, that's the price of success. And Brady's going to be a bigger part of the cap after he gets his new contract. But I don't care about all that. I'm enjoying the giving from the football gods right now. The biggest gift of all? Brady, his generation's Joe Montanna, hell, his generation's Bart Starr, in the SIXTH ROUND! He's going to lead this team to another Super Bowl victory this year, and then we'll just have to see what Bellichek does about coordinators and caps and all that.

From Bradford, PA myself - Pennsylvania's icebox and home of Zippo lighters. Plenty of Steeler fans out here in the Phoenix area. Hell, we even have our own biker bar out in Cave Creek (a little north east of Phoenix). It has a big banner outside over the entrance that pronouces that this is "Steeler Country". They had to put up a huge party tent the last two weekends to handle all the Steeler fans for the playoff and championship games. Brought in lots of Iron City beer - Terrible Towels were everywhere. Kind of sad and quiet Sunday evening but it was a great run. We'll be back next year.
