File this under "it's what you do with it that counts". Earlier this month, three guys on American Ironhorse Texas Choppers completed a 1500-miles-in-under-36-hours "BunBurner" ride that was certified by the IronButt Association.

Fort Worth, Texas based American Ironhorse apparently received a certificate from IronButt as well.

I'm sure with appropriate amounts of foam under your butt, midwest straight line interstate runs would be very ameniable to a LD certification on a chopper... :)
