The 650GS is a really nice bike, the Dakar is a little more off-road worthy, and taller than the GS

That bike is damn sexy. I think the F650 would make a great starter bike, and a great keeper bike.

Yeah, I've put almost 10,000 on my 650GS, real nice commuter bike, very light & nimble compared to my Concours.
