:bday: As corny as it sounds, it's good to have you around Smitty. I like to think of myself as a unique specimen, but as a 75-year-old sportbike rider you have me beat by a long way. Ride safe! :bars:

Quit stealing Smitty's thunder. :redangry3

Ok not really. Happy birthday to both of you!

I imagine Smitty looked something like this back in the day:

My thanks to all of you. When you get to be around my age you try to forget AGE. I had my Honda 929 to the Yamaha shop for a new Bridgestone BT-012 front tyre, hauled along a new rear chain, aimed for the Suzy GSXR 750 just three yrs ago & thought what the heck I will let them make the oil change to fresh Motul 5100.

I am one that likes good gloves with a set Joe Rocket top line in '01 though they stopped at that line, without even showing it on the 'net, I guess they felt $250.00 was a bit high in yr '01, then a set of Held Ninja Racing gloves late last season, so spotted this set of JR Speedmaster at $199.99 which I bought.

I was envited to a couple's place for a hot home cooked meal, & you know we bachelors always fall for that one. I did not have time to even stop off at my home to do a bit of work on the new front tyre & simply honked on past my home town to a small place past Penticton, called Okanagon Falls & this was planned due to my birthday---even surprised me as I was trying to forget I was 75 yrs of age.

I was barely up for a dentist appointment when phone rings to have one of the higher people from Honda Dist in Vancouver, B.C. Cdn, calling from Toronto, Ont. Cdn. To give me this thank you regarding my age. This chap was out mechanic only Honda realized he was simply amazing & snatched him from us many yrs back. He was a good rider on the pavement so I tought him how to ride the dirt to where we had a ball riding & some funny incidents of his bike landing in a tree as he failed to make said Observed Trials section of where he took this plunge into space to end up in the tree below.

Still thanks again gang.
