Hey Dboogie,
I've just started looking around the new format and it seems very powerful. Lots of links and new options to play with. Very cool!
Once again - thanks for all your hard work in getting this site setup!

It looks great. Wow!
Nice work, dboogie...'cept sigs and avatars aren't working right. I can't set a new Avatar in the Control Panel and my sig just shows up as the URL instead of the image (see above).
Edit: I see the posting rules on the Edit Sig page say that [IMG] code is off. I wasn't sure if you knew this or not.

Looks great! One thing you might want to put in, is a "previous thread/next thread" option at the top as well as at the bottom, so one can quickly page through threads that aren't of interest...
Will avatars come back? (I know you must still be working on the site)

It looks great, and seems faster too. Database reindexing is good.
The avatar thing still is not working. It shows in the profile....?
mark.

Avatars are fixed, like I said it will take some time to get everything worked out. As for the sig, the sig Images are disabled for the moment. I will address that as soon as I can, but with as much space as some users sigs took up, I dont know if I will enable them.
Will VBulletin let you limit sig sizes?

by character only, the IMG tags function is simply on or off, so if i turn it on, it will allow the images that people posted.....i wish there was a function for it to resize, but oh well.
Can you add instructions on the Edit Sig page to strongly suggest people not use sigs that exceed specific limits?
Oh, and one other question...at what point does one go from being a "Newbie" to something else?

at 20 posts it changes to "rollin on"
there are a few others after that at 50 posts and 100 posts

dboogie you've been a busy boy. Seems like every time I visit the site it just gets better and better. I like what I'm seeing. Keep up the good work.
Just curious:
What's going on with the wrong time stamp on posts? Seems they're about 5 or 6 hours off!

go into your user control panel into the EDIT options menu, you are probably still set to GMT...change it to -X hours (whatever your time zone is) should fix right up for you

The upgrade shifted the time. If you had set it before, you need to go in and set it again as described above.

Dboogie, I REALLY like the "view first unread" feature. Is that done by time (i.e., if I read a few section but not all of them, does the software think I've read all of them) or by individual cookies for individual posts or folders? Just curious...
Shutterbug, I'm "Rollin On"; I don't know when that happened, but since I have about 44 posts...

Cas, It goes by time, your LAST VISITED time in the upper right hand corner, but I recommend that everytime you leave the forum, you hit the MARK FORUMS READ link at the bottom center of the forum listing, sometimes VB doenst remember the time right, and if you revisit later, it still thinks that you haven't been here since hours before you were.
