Cool video. I have to show it to the bikenut when I get home today.

We were there that weekend. I don't think we know anyone that races in the Formula 2 class. WERA West runs the full AMA course at California Speedway.

The little chicane on the back straight, before the bridge, is still pretty bumpy. Speedway folks keep saying they have improved it every year. The first couple of years AMA came to Fontana, the pros were wheelying over the bumps to get through the section.

LOL, the guys got some balls running a D bike in F2. Out here, F2 is owned by SVs and 2-strokes. A GS500, EX500, or Hawk would get eaten alive.

Curtis is going to run Senior Superbike again this year, and something else, but he's not sure what yet. He mentioned something about 650 superbike (B Superbike, I think).

He'll probably also run a new bike this year also. The old '03 636 is getting a little tired, but it earned him a 3rd place for the season in Sr super when everyone else runs R1s, 999Rs, and GXR1000s. He thinks he's got a lead on an '06 636, barely used, with some front end damage. He's already got a replacement from from when he worked for kawi for it, and forks if they also need to be replaced.
